SAFFRON INDIAN RESTAURANT: A Culinary Gem in Steamboat Springs

Amazing! Veggie samosa were HUGE and tasty. Got the veggie korma and butter chicken at medium heat and both were so good that we made sure to have leftovers. Will come back any time in town!

Samosas were delicious and huge. Portions were reasonable and the lamb roganjosh was amazing! Highly recommend if stopping in steamboat springs. Also the naan bread is some kind the tastiest I’ve had even compared to Indian restaurants in Denver metro

So so good. Every dish was absolutely amazing. The service was superb & very kid friendly. Pleasant outdoor seating overlooking the main drag. Upfront parking. Large indoor seating as well. A++

Absolute gem. Food was some of the best I've ever had and I mean food in general, not just Indian. It was Absolutely delicious. The momo dumplings were fantastic. Saag and Korma were fantastic. Servers were very attentive. Wonderful experience. And FYI I'm not a typical steamboat person, just a based dude on a date with his wife. Don't be afraid of the stereotypes ive never had an issue eating it. Indian food is amazing.

A great Indian restaurant! I was skeptical, considering it's in a resort town, but don't let that fool you. When you walk in the door you are greeted with the scent of excellent Indian food. The service was outstanding! The food was delivered quickly, and they checked on us every five minutes, even though it was busy. Our water was always topped off too. The garlic naan bread and Aloo Paratha were delicious, with just the right amount of flavor, but not too heavy. The curries were excellent. The spice and flavor profiles were just right, and the rice was some of the best I've had. Next time I'm in Steamboat, I'll be dining here for dinner!

Butter Chicken & Chicken Korma!!! My husband loves Indian food and has had it all over the country and said this was the best he’s had. I agree it was perfection. Our two boys (ages 14 & 10) also said this was their favorite food they’ve had all week. We are here on vacation. One day left and I think we will be back for lunch! We also had the garlic naan - so good. I wish Saffron was in our hometown! Also, the service was awesome. No complaints!!
